SEND Information

As part of the Children and Families Bill 2014, all schools in Warwickshire are required to publish their school specific information about arrangements for identifying, assessing and making provision for children with Special Educational Needs and/ or Disability (SEND). The collation of school specific information will form part of a county- wide Local Offer of provision.

The document attached below sets out to provide clear information to parents of children with SEND at Wembrook Primary School and was written in consultation with parents. This information report will be reviewed in line with the new Code of Practice (Sept 2014).

Autism Support for Parents

An Autism charity, that is working with our school to help run our Autism Support groups for Parents and Guardians, is launching a new Sensory Resource Library. Parents/Guardians of children with sensory differences can loan sensory resources for up to a month, free of charge.

Please see the attached poster that has details on how to contact the charity to arrange to borrow the sensory resources. There is also a QR code to scan for more information about the charity and the wonderful activities they organise for families of and children with Autism.
