Wembrook Olympics 2016.

Every class from Reception up to Year 6 took part in the Wembrook Olympic competition at the Pingles athletics stadium. All children competed in at least one event and all wore their new white “Summer of Fun 2016” t-shirts. The races were held on the track and included sprints of different distances, hurdles and a relay.

Children were organised into teams and were then awarded points for their country according to their finishing position in each race. The Wembrook Olympic countries were – Great Britain, Germany, USA, China, Brazil, Australia, Ethiopia and India.

Congratulations to USA – winners of the Wembrook Olympics 2016. The USA Olympians have each received a gold medal!
