MUGA pitch opening

What an amazing morning it was for us here at Wembrook, after several years of planning and developing our MUGA pitch was officially opened!

The grand opening of our MUGA (Multi Use Games Area) pitch which happened on Friday was a fantastic day for Wembrook Primary School and the whole of the Nuneaton community. Not only was the all-weather Pitch now opened but the first person to officially kick a ball on the pitch was England's International for the Women's team Laura Bassett. Mayoress Joan Longden and Mayor, Councillor Barry Longden also joined us on the opening of the pitch which was a great honour.

We are thrilled with the new games area and would like to thank everyone who was involved with the planning and developing of the project which has come at a huge success to Wembrook.

We believe the new pitch will open exciting opportunities for the children in their lessons and across the school, It will also open new opportunities for the community within Nuneaton with the pitch being able to be hired after school hours.
