Enclosures

Throughout the week at Wembrook, Key Stage 2 children have been building enclosures for endangered animals that they have been learning about.

The topic this week is endangered animals. We discussed conservation and how zoos can help. The children had to design their own enclosure for their endangered animal. They had to carefully consider it's habitat, including areas for their young as well as areas to sleep and rest. They also had to think about ways of keeping their animal happy and entertained in their space. The animals chosen were the South China Tiger and the Pygmy Three-Toed Sloth.
